The 17th LIFF Wiz-Art will take place in Lviv on September 22–27. The festival events will be held across six locations, including the Lviv Art Palace “Planeta Kino,” and Culture Park. The festival will also hold special screenings in Kyiv.

In total, Wiz-Art will bring together around 150 short films from 50 countries. The program includes international and national competitions, non-competition programs, a selection of the best European films from the European Short Film Audience Award, programs from partner festivals—Vilnius Short Film Festival and Ottawa International Film Festival—free open-air screenings, films for the youngest audiences, and special film selections for students in grades 8–11.
The festival opening will take place in the Sound & Vision format—a special event where musicians will perform live scores to films.
The focus theme of Wiz-Art 2026 is “Keep Focus.” Amid information noise, disinformation, and exhaustion, the festival offers a space to talk about the ability to keep attention on what matters most—through cinema and a shared viewing experience.
