Winners of European Film Festivals: Selection #2
This year, you’ll get a chance to choose the best European short film, as Wiz-Art is part of the ESFAA network.
The screening starts at 3 PM on September 19 at Lviv Art Palace, 17 Kopernyka str.
What is ESFAA?
ESFAA (European Short Film Audience Award) is a European audience award presented annually to the best short film selected by viewers at 10 leading festivals. Wiz-Art also nominates a Ukrainian film, which is then screened in 10 European countries.

Jessica and Alma, two sisters in a situation of domestic violence, will begin to treat each other with love instead of violence through one of their routine trips to the food stamp office on the night of San Juan, a Spanish holiday.

ROSE // 18 min., Annika Mayer, Germany, 2024
A family in the 1960s captured on Super8 film, juxtaposed with stories of a violent husband recounted fifty years later. A film about the invisibility of domestic violence.

MY SECRET CYBERLOVE // 30 min., Bartosz Stankiewicz, Poland, 2024
Robert is in a relationship with a sex robot and runs a bakery with his mother. When a cake oven breaks down, his toxic father returns to fix it. His father’s presence puts Robert’s love for the robot to the test.

PERCEBES // 12 min., Alexandra Ramires, Laura Gonçalves, Portugal, 2024
With the sea and the urban Algarve as a background, we follow a complete cycle of the life of a special shellfish called PERCEBES, goose barnacle. From their formation, to the dish, in this journey, we cross different contexts that allow us to better understand this region and those who live there.
