Olha Reiter, co-founder of the Wiz-Art art formation and director of the Lviv International Short Film Festival Wiz-Art, has joined this year’s jury, which will choose the winners of the DOCU/SHORT and DOCU/UKRAINE competitions at the Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival. The festival runs from March 25 to April 1 at the Kyiv Cinema House.

Alongside Olha, the jury includes Finnish filmmaker Eero Tammi and Dutch project manager Melanie de Vocht.
This year the festival’s traditional programmes DOCU/LIFE, DOCU/RIGHTS and DOCU/SHORT are joined by a new competition, DOCU/UKRAINE: a special platform where Ukrainian documentary filmmakers can not only see each other’s projects, but also meet their audience and hear feedback from international experts.
Curator and producer Olha Reiter co-founded the Lviv Film Commission and one of the most visible and active organisations in Ukraine’s audiovisual field – the Wiz-Art art formation. On March 30 at 3 pm in the Blue Hall, as part of DOCU/CLASS, she will give the presentation “Lviv Film Commission. Work in Progress”, sharing first-hand experience of building the institution and her vision of its future development.
