“Canon 5D Mark in Modern Filmmaking” (master class)
On April 25 at 3 pm, French cinematographer Fiona Braillon will meet Ukrainian directors and cinematographers to talk about what the Canon 5D Mark can do and how to use it well in low-budget projects: short films, music videos and experimental cinema.
During this hands-on master class everyone interested will learn how best to shoot video with a digital stills camera. Fiona will also share her experience of working with digital photo equipment and show examples of its successful and unsuccessful use.
Fiona Braillon is a French cinematographer based in Brussels. She studied cinematography at the IAD arts academy in Belgium and has worked on more than ten short films, including “Mandala, My Love” (dir. Charlon Poletier, 2011) and “For You I Will Fight” (dir. Rachel Lang, 2010). Fiona Braillon was the cinematographer of the Ukrainian-French film “The Fox Is Sneaking”, made within the Tandem project, which premieres in May. Everyone is welcome!
