Sound and Vision. Opening Films
19:00 · special event open-air · 2 hours
Lviv City Administration Yard , 1, Rynok Square
On September 7 at 7 pm, the Lviv City Hall courtyard hosts the opening ceremony of the 13th Wiz-Art Film Festival with films accompanied by live music from TIK TU, PILIKAYU, PALINDROM, MARYANA KLOCHKO, MARK TOKAR and MONTESKIE. A unique format and an experience that cannot be compared with anything.
The films will come alive on screen twice – accompanied by electronic and classical music, and with their original sound. The musicians are already working on their tracks. The most exciting part: they will hear the original soundtracks only together with us, at the second screening.
The event takes place offline only, and tickets are very limited.

Director’s on Quarantine
11:00 · special event, screening · 1 hour
This year’s events have changed the pace of life and the planet itself. What have Ukrainian directors been up to during quarantine? What has inspired, outraged and worried them? What the world around has looked like to them? We will watch some films, specially created for the Wiz-Art Festival, about the subjective experience of the unusual 2020.
The program includes films-reflections, intimate stories and tales from others by Khrystyna Syvolap, Roman Bordun, Nikon Romanchenko, Zoya Laktionova and Bohdana Smyrnova.
