“Misundershood” is an author\u2019s story about war seen through the eyes of a vulnerable person. Oleksa lives in claim and at his own pace until war destroys his fragile inner balance. In 2025, many Ukrainian cities continue to suffer from the war started by russia. Although countless people face danger and trauma every day, this experience is no longer felt as intense as it was at the start of the invasion. Despite the war, people strive to live ordinary lives, witness construction and destruction happening side by side, switch instantly between opposite emotions, and find joy in circumstances where it might seem impossible. The animated film “The Borderline” explores how frontline cities adapt to extraordinary conditions, rethinking this unique, complex, and contradictory psychological state.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Day in and day out, a sparrow sees images of ostriches everywhere: on posters, in ads, and on its smartphone. In awe of the ostriches, with their long necks, dazzling eyes and muscular legs, the little bird wants to be just like them. By hitting the gym to work on its leg muscles, following make-up tutorials, and paying several visits to the neck stretching studio, the sparrow comes very close to achieving its goal. But one day when a real ostrich comes to town and the sparrow meets its idol in person, one thing becomes crystal clear: try as it might, a sparrow can never truly be an ostrich.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Concrete Kids \u2013 is a short film about kids who grew up in the courtyards of the Soviet apartment district of Lithuania, who lacked the attention and love of their parents, who tried to survive and free themselves from the violence in the streets every single day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A girl wanders through the city, countryside, beach, always clutching a phone from which she never takes her eyes off. Along the way, she comes across a group of characters that include a bear, dolphins, pirates, an alien. Everyone tries to captivate her and draw her attention, but she is indifferent to everything around her. After a series of adventures that include a brief space trip, the girl lands in a circus and climbs up a roller coaster. What no one expected was that, during the dizzying journey, the phone would slip out of her hands, only to fall apart on the ground.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
