On July 28 at 4pm in the Green Hall of Lviv Art Palace Icelandic director Isold Uggadóttir will present her latest films and answer all the question. Isold Uggadóttir is currently based in Reykjavik and New York City. Her films have premiered at such festivals as Sundance, ND/NF at the MoMA & Lincoln Center, BFI London, Sao Paulo, Hamptons, Palm Springs, Aspen, Göteborg, Nordisk Panorma, and over 100 others, garnering praise and multiple awards.
Isold spent a decade living in New York City, where she completed an M.F.A hons in writing and directing from Columbia University’s School of the Arts.
Her experience also includes childcare in Vienna, factory work in Copenhagen, table serving in Berlin, and telephone operating in Reykjavik. Currently, she favors writing, directing and editing, over the above.
