I’m with you. LISFF Wiz-Art 2020

I’m with you.

That’s the slogan of 13th Lviv International Short Film Festival and that’s exactly what we want to say to you.

All these years we have been in touch and kept our finger on the pulse of time to see and understand more. We’ve watched films together that made us smile or outraged us, warmed our hearts or made us break out in cold sweat, films that inspired and provoked.

This year won’t be any different, even though we have to make it online and keep a safe distance!

We are with you to share the ideas and meanings generated by the brightest minds of our time.

To create the space for conversation.

We are with you to watch earthshaking films!

This year marks the 13th time that  Wiz-Art Festival takes place, however this is the first time when the festival will be held in a combined way: offline in Lviv and online throughout Ukraine.

We have selected around 150 films from five continents.

The best works will be chosen in International and Ukrainian competitions.

Non-competition programmes will feature your old time favorites: Sound & Vision, Midnight Sexy Shorts, Urban Shorts, as well as new interesting categories: Ukrainian Music Videos Review, Ukrainian Directors on Quarantine and other thematic screenings.

Educational elements will be represented by Wiz-Art Lab and Script Workshop Online.

There will be discussions, meetups and lots of conversations too.

Among the jury: Romanian director Bogdan Mureșanu, producer Yulia Sinkevych, film critic Ivan Kozlenko, Israeli director Dekel Berenson, director Anna Buriachkova and others.

Most of the screenings will take place on the platform of our online cinema Big Short and will be free of charge. This will help attract broader audiences from the whole of Ukraine. Several offline screenings in Lviv are also planned (details and tickets will be available later).
