Chiara Malta in Lviv & Kyiv

French-Italian director and scriptwriter Chiara Malta will held the presentation in Q&A format and also screen her own films on November 4 at at 17.00 in Lviv , Alter Club (room 001, ground floor) and on November 5 in Kyiv.

french_randezvous_Chiara_Malta_regista1Chiara Malta was born in Rome in 1977. Having moved to France in 2002, Chiara Malta makes films that are hardly classifiable, as for format and language.

L’Isle, her first short film, was in competition at Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival in 2005 and has been selected by several international festivals. Her next film En t’attendant has been presented at Pesaro Film Festival (Esordi Italiani) the same year.

Her documentary film Armando & Politics has opened “Lo stato delle cose” at Turin Film Festival in 2008. Being an active member of Acid (Association pour le cinema independent et sa diffusion), she takes part in Cannes selections. In 2010 she makes two short films, J’attends une Femme and L’amour a Trois, the last was in the program of International Festival of Short Films Wiz-Art 2011. Chiara Malta is the author of script of a long feature film for children, now she is working on her first full-length film.
